IMAGE LIBRARY

During the course of Pat O'Hara's career, he has developed a substantial image library of stock photos available for licensing. Color transparencies in sizes of 4"x5", medium format and 35mm comprise the body of work. Specializing in landscapes, natural history and cultural monuments have taken him to many continents. His initial interest in western North America built the cornerstone of his image library. During the 1990s, Pat's interest in the former Soviet Republics united him with the country of Georgia and Russia's northeast Asia from which he has an impressive photo collection.

NATURAL LIGHT ASSIGNMENTS

Pat's expertise has gained him international recognition as an environmental photographer. He is considered a master of natural light compositions and is available for assignments ranging from accessible locations to remote wilderness.

FINE ART PRINTS                                                                  Price List

Fine art prints are visual expressions resulting from a creative digital bridge that connects the original compositions on filmto the emergence of images on substrates. High-resolution scans are performed on Pat O'Hara's original color transparencies. He nurtures the images with digital imaging tools at a level of precision far exceeding that of a traditional darkroom. Master digital compositions are created from which the fine art prints are rendered. Limited and open edition prints are available for direct purchase.

Carbon Pigment Transfer Prints
Considered the highest quality of archival prints available. Images are mastered by Pat and printed by Tod Gangler at the Art & Soul Studio in Seattle, Washington. Color separations are made from which the matrices are developed to transfer the carbon pigments. These are offered in editions of 25.

Giclée Prints
Final rendering is accomplished in Pat's studio using digital inkjet printers onto a variety of substrates chosen for the characteristics of each composition. Giclée fine art prints are known for their archival stability that makes them particularly appealing to serious collectors. Limited and open editions are available.

Crystal Archive Prints
Master digital files are output from a LightJet Digital-Direct printer onto Fuji Crystal Archive chromogenic material. This material is known for its longevity. Limited and open editions are available.

DIGITAL IMAGING

A division of Pat O'Hara Photography,Inc manages commercial projects such as museum exhibits, books, calendars, posters, post-photographic compositions and digital productions. Production management and licensing of Pat's are often consolidated into individual projects. Personalized client communication, from concept to completion, contributes to each project's quality control standards.

DIGITAL VIDEO

Pat's masterful eyes as a still photographer have poised him to make the transition to sensitive digital video compositions. Grace of motion united with exquisite light, bring beauty and inspiration to this medium. Stock videography is available and assignments are negotiated in collaboration with supporting video professionals.
